Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings
Crispy chicken wings are one of the things that would make any day better for me. The crunchy sound, the delicious sauce and the fun of eating them is one of my favorite hobbies. These Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings are buttery, garlicky, and full of fresh herbs and seasonings to make these feel a bit lighter. And, they’re baked or air-fried to be a bit healthier! Enjoy!
What do I need for Garlic Parmesan Wings?
Chicken Wings
2 pounds of chicken wings
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon chili powder
Garlic Parmesan Sauce
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon hot sauce

How do I make Garlic Parmesan Wings?
Step One: To prepare your chicken wings, cut them if desired. Then, pat the wings dry with paper towels, removing as much moisture as possible. This is an essential step to ensuring crispy chicken wings.
Step Two: In a medium to a large bowl, combine 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon chili powder. Toss wings in the mixture and cover completely.
Step Three: To cook, place a wire cooling rack over a baking sheet. Set chicken wings on the cooling rack and place in the oven at 425 degrees for 45-55 minutes, turning halfway through. You can also cook in an air fryer at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Step Four: To make the sauce, combine 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup finely grated parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh parsley, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and 1 tablespoon hot sauce in a bowl and 1 tablespoon minced garlic. Set aside.
Step Five: When wings are done, immediately toss in a garlic parmesan sauce. Top with parsley and green onion, and enjoy!
